How the Venue Splits
The Toyota Amphitheater in Wheatland is one of Northern California’s largest outdoor music venues. Around 8,000 reserved seats fill the covered bowl closest to the stage, from the pit through the upper reserved rows, and the wide open lawn behind them holds roughly 10,500 more under the sky. That mix is what gives the venue its range, an intimate feel down front and a festival feel up top. See the seating chart for the section by section breakdown.
Big Nights Worth Noting
- KISS brought their farewell tour through in 2020 and packed both the bowl and the lawn.
- Luke Bryan’s 2018 stop was one of the venue’s biggest country nights, with the hits out in full.
- Iron Maiden hit the amphitheater in 2016 on their world tour.
- Jason Aldean drew a huge 2017 crowd, and he keeps coming back.
- Maroon 5’s 2018 show ranks among the biggest pop nights the venue has hosted.
With 18,500 spots and a scenic outdoor setting, the amphitheater lands major tours across rock, country, pop, and metal every summer. Here is who is playing next.
